Submitting a query
Share a query with the community repository directly from a chat reply that contains SQL.
Last updated on
You submit reports straight from the chat. Whenever an AI reply contains SQL, a Save to Repository action appears on that message and opens this dialog. For the short in-chat version, see Save to repository.
Click any control to jump to what it does.
Open the dialog
Select Save to Repository on an AI reply that contains SQL. The dialog opens with a preview of the extracted query on one side and the submission form on the other.
Set the title
Query Title is required and comes pre-filled from the chat. Edit it to something descriptive so others can find it.
Add an explanation
Describe what the query does, when to use it, or any caveats. The explanation is limited to 500 characters, and a character counter tracks how much you have used. Fix with AI can tidy your wording.
Choose your attribution
Two optional checkboxes control what others see:
- Hide my name from the submission
- Hide my company from the submission
Leave both unchecked to be credited as the author.
Submit
Select Submit. If the same query already exists you will see a duplicate warning, with a Submit Anyway button if you still want to send it. On success you can open your new submission or browse the repository.
Every submission is reviewed by the team before it appears publicly. Until it's approved, only you can see it in your own pending entries.
