Filtering and sorting reports

The filter panel gives you:

  • Search - matches against a report's title and explanation.
  • Author - filter by the contributor's name.
  • Category - pick a single category (shown with a count of how many reports it holds).
  • Status - All statuses, Published, or Pending Review. You only ever see published reports plus your own pending submissions.
  • Sort By - Created Date or Helpful Votes.
  • Order - Descending or Ascending.

Upvoting a report

Open any report to see its SQL, summary, and vote count. The voting card shows the total number of upvotes and two buttons:

  • Upvote marks the report as helpful.
  • Downvote marks it as not helpful.

Clicking the button you already chose removes your vote, and a line below the buttons tells you how you voted. Helpful votes feed the Helpful Votes sort and the trending view, so voting helps the best reports surface for everyone.

These are not separate pages, they are pre-filtered views of Browse and the contributors list:

  • Trending opens Browse sorted by helpful votes, highest first.
  • Latest opens Browse sorted by created date, newest first.
  • Leaderboard opens the contributors page.
